Hello

Ihor (Bill) Babiak is of Ukrainian descent and is largely self-taught beyond high school. He spent 34 years in the nuclear power industry, retiring in early 2018 as a Senior Consultant in the Nuclear Fuels & Analysis Department and earning recognition as a subject matter expert in spent nuclear fuel dry cask storage systems. In retirement, Bill enjoys restoring sports cars, walking on the beach, traveling, and quiet reflection in Florida with his wife. He is the father of two daughters and the grandfather of identical twin granddaughters. Writing has been both emotional and healing for him. Snow the White Horse is his debut children’s book and a project close to his heart. With Book 2 already underway, including early illustrations and transcripts, Bill looks forward to continuing Snow’s journey with young readers everywhere. His hope is to create stories that inspire, comfort, and leave a gentle imprint on a child’s heart.
